There's nothing like a great live band to ensure the success of your special celebration. The Full Tilt Band has been creating one success after another over the course of our 16 years making music together. Everytime we play for a party it's a great feeling to see our dance floors packed with guest having a great time.

We've provided elegant and energetic music for over 800 special events throughout the Bay Area. We know how to keep the night alive with energy, partly because we're expert at playing the right tune at the right moment: we'll take a high energy dance set seamlessly into a romantic mood with a perfectly chosen, soulful ballad, then steer the party back into the fun of a dance jam again.

The Full Tilt! Band has an impressive repertoire of the best danceable music in a wide variety of styles: Big Band and New Swing, Classic and Contemporary Rock, R&B, Funk and Motown, Disco, Blues, Jazz, Standards, Romantic Ballads. With this great collection of tunes its easy to custom tailor our sets to create a mix of music that everyone in your party will enjoy. We can play an entire evening of one style of music, for an "All Swing" or "All Jazz" night, a '50's sock hop, or a '70's retro party, or use the great variety of hits at our fingertips to create a dance party that spans the generations.

The Full Tilt! Band offers both gifted male and female vocalists, and talented musicians who have worked with such artists as Van Morrison, James Brown, Celine Dion and Michael Bolton. We perform as a four-to-seven-person band, and many of us play more than one instrument, giving us a big, authentic sound as we play your favorite tunes.

You'll meet our bandleader, Donna Spitzer. One of the Bay Area's most respected vocalists, Donna has appeared in clubs, festivals and special events throughout Northern California and abroad. She brings her caring, warm and friendly manner as well as her 18 years of experience of entertaining at private parties to the planning of your event.
